After you all trashed Santa's Evil lair last year, we've had to move this year's event further underground, to a nice, less-than-cozy Ice Cave. Luckily, you've obviously all been good this year - Santa has listened and has brought you a whole pile of things that make evil things go away: the Winter Weapon pack! This year we have another new map for you - the Ice Cave. Santa's Evil Lair was a Horzine facility gone all Christmassy. This time, the Evil Horzine Santa and all his helpers have been driven deep underground, buried away under the Arctic ice, where they can't be found. Of course it didn't work - and you and your friends have been volunteered to venture into the caves to eliminate yet another Christmas threat! New achievements, as well: go wild with the Claymore to get "Highlander", Rambo it with the M-4 for "Bloody Yanks" and cowboy it with every single hand-gun! The Winter Weapon Pack brings has something for everyone in the family. The Sharpshooter gets to go all retro with a beautiful vintage revolver. Good for dual-wielding too. The Berzerker can go positively historic with a wonderful 2-handed Scottish Claymore. Probably running around shouting "freeedommm!" in a terrible Scottish accent at the same time. The M-4 Carbine makes an appearance (someone must have picked up some US Army surplus) - the Commando gets the base model, while the Demolition specialists can enjoy the under-slung M-203 Grenade Launcher at the same time. The Support team gets a really beautiful semi-automatic shotgun, for those times when the AA12 just empties your pockets too quickly. The Firebug gets some love with a Husk Gun. Now you can return the favor for all those times you've been popped by a Husk you hadn't spotted. Last, but by no means least, is the Medic. He gets some more firepower with the classic MP5 machine pistol equipped, as you would expect, with Horzine healing Darts. Of course, we've brought back the Baddest Santa, along with all the Christmas special achievements. Now all those of you who missed out on Bad Santa last year get your chance at him this year!
